Our Story
Like a lot of good things, Dot Dot Darling started with family, a celebration, and a table.
In January 2026, our family traveled to Charleston for a Mahjong-inspired getaway to celebrate the birthday of our family matriarch, Terrianne.
The trip brought together Terrianne; her daughters, Chelsianna and Arabella; daughters-in-law Gretchen and Paris; and future daughter-in-law Catherine for a girls’ weekend filled with celebrating, exploring, and, of course, Mahjong.
We had already fallen in love with the game after Chelsianna introduced Mahjong to the family the summer before. But experiencing a dedicated Mahjong studio in Charleston sparked something bigger.
We looked around the table and thought: we could create something like this at home—and make it completely our own.
And just like that, the beginnings of Dot Dot Darling came home to Sewickley.
A Family Affair
Dot Dot Darling is proudly women- and family-owned, and that family spirit is woven into everything we do.
Each of us brings something different to the table—from business and operations to design, finance, social media, and all the little details that make a space feel special. Different generations, different talents, one shared vision: to create a place our community would genuinely love to gather.

Bringing It Home
When we began imagining Dot Dot Darling, we knew we wanted to create more than somewhere to play a game.
We wanted to build something special for Sewickley—a place to learn Mahjong without feeling intimidated, meet new people, gather with friends and family, discover beautiful pieces for your own table, and simply have fun.
A place where someone can walk in knowing absolutely nothing about Mahjong and eventually become the person teaching their friends.
A place where generations can gather around the same table.
A place where community happens naturally, one game at a time.
That’s the heart of Dot Dot Darling—and we can’t wait to share it with you.
