Classes are pre-seated, so we need a little information before you book.
Wonderful. 101 starts from the very beginning, so if you already know your way around a hand you may find it slower than you'd like. Mahjong 102 picks up where 101 leaves off — full games, with someone at your elbow.
Either is yours to book. Plenty of self-taught players like starting here.
102 is built for players who learned the foundations in our in-person Mahjong 101. You're welcome either way, but you'll get far more out of 102 with a class behind you.

There is nothing quite like the sound of a tile going down. Mahjong 101 teaches you American mahjong from the very beginning — the card, the calls, the small thrill of a hand coming together. It's a card-based descendant of the Chinese game, equal parts strategy, luck and theatre. Come knowing nothing at all. That's rather the point. Classes run two and a half hours.
